PAPO Exhibit at IRWP

The Plein Air Painters of the Ozarks (PAPO) is currently exhibiting approximately forty works of art at the Illinois River Watershed Partnership (IRWP) Learning Center in Cave Springs, Akansas. The exhibit is in the upstairs gallery of the IRWP Learning Center and will continue through September 25th. It's a wonderful representation showing the range of talent and interests held by the members of PAPO. The media is varied also, from oil, watercolor, acrylic, to mixed media works. Cave Springs is located just South of Bentonville, home of Crystal Bridges Museum of American Art.  FYI: Crystal Bridges' 'Amazeum' just opened this week. A great place to take the kids and stay cool from the hot weather!  So, if your in the area, PAPO members and I hope you will stop by for the show. For those needing to avoid stairs, just make the block and park behind the building. You can then go straight into the Gallery and avoid the stairs. Have a great week!

A wide variety of subject matter is in the show, from Plein Air Landscapes to studio paintings.  Several of the artists featured in this exhibit have won awards in Plein Air Competitions in Arkansas, including the prestigious Illinois River Salon which is held each year at IRWP.  The IRS exhibit will actually begin in October after our exhibit ends in September.
